- Such Exporters tend to get the ‘Commodity Treatment’ by the Importers. Many developing nations suffer from this ‘Commodity Trap’.
- Instead, find ways to be an integral part of a global value chain. This requires strong capabilities in R&D, demand sensing and supply chain relationships.
