A ‘power nap’ on a working day recharges you for greater productivity and performance. Have a few bean bags in your office, create a quite napping corner, actively encourage your staff to take short ‘power naps’. When people are expected to work very long hours, naturally their performance wanes off as the day progresses and their stress levels rises. Some resort to high level of caffeine and sugar, which of course bites back. Given the stress that businesses create in their employees, businesses have a responsibility to be more concerned about employee health – not in the glossy annual reports but in reality!
