Every business was once a start-up. Some scaled-up, some screwed-up!
There are lessons to be learnt from both:
- Arguably, there is more to learn from screw-ups – because when you are successful:
- Social pressure pushes you to think that you have the ‘Midas’ touch and eventually you tend to believe in it!
- You rarely give credit to privileged circumstances that you were ‘blessed’ with.
