Address root-causes, not gimmicks, on International Women’s Day

  •  If they recognise that child bearing requires work-time and work-place flexibility, facilitate it and ensure that career progress is not disadvantaged as a result
  •  If they actively discourage ‘old boys clubs’ and ‘macho cultures’ ‒ that unfairly marginalises women in the work place
